February Teas at the Orlando Brown House

On February 6, 7, 13, and 14, 2009, Liberty Hall held its annual February Teas event.  This year's theme was an 1865 bridal shower hosted by Eliza Brown in honor of her sister Mary Yoder Brown, who married Col. William T. Scott on August 22, 1865.  Guests enjoyed a luncheon of cranberry-pineapple gelatin, creamed chicken fricassee, and strawberry cupcakes with chocolate ganache.
