During the spring semester, LHHS offers one paid internship to a graduate or undergraduate student studying historic preservation, historic interiors, American history, Art history, Design, or a similar field. Graduate students are preferred but undergraduate students will also be considered. Previous interns have created proposals for historic room interiors as part of the restoration project at Liberty Hall. Other projects will include exhibit research about the Brown family, artifacts in the collection, and life in early Kentucky. The internship was made possible through a donation by Susan Simmons Craik (1905-2001), a former member of The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
