Liberty Hall Historic Site is located at 202 Wilkinson Street (Orlando Brown House) and 218 Wilkinson Street (Liberty Hall), between Main Street and Wapping Street, in downtown Frankfort, just steps away from the Old Capitol and the shops on Broadway.  LHHS is easily accessible from Interstate 64 via exits 53B and 58.


From Louisville/Shelbyville, take Interstate 64 east to exit 53B (US Hwy 127).  You will proceed north on US Hwy 127 (also known as the West Frankfort Connector) for approximately six miles until you cross the Kentucky River into downtown Frankfort.  After crossing the bridge take the first right onto Wilkinson Street, and get in the left-hand lane. Proceed to the second stop sign, which is in front of the Orlando Brown House.

From Lexington take Interstate 64 west to exit 53B (US Hwy 60). Turn right off the exit ramp to travel west on US Hwy 60.  Follow US Hwy 60 (also known as Versailles Road) approximately three miles, when you reach the intersection with US Hwy 421. Continue straight onto US Hwy 421 (now Wilkinson Street), for approximately 2 miles until you reach downtown Frankfort. Stay straight on Wilkinson Street until you reach the second stop sign, which is in front of the Orlando Brown House.

Take the Trolley
The Frankfort Trolley stops in front of the Orlando Brown House at least once each hour, Tuesday-Saturday, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Frankfort Trolley is a free service that connects visitors and residents to many sites of cultural and historical interest in downtown Frankfort. Free on-street parking is available on Wilkinson Street and Wapping Street adjacent to the site.
