3pm Calling all art and art history enthusiasts! Uncover the secrets behind the brushstrokes that captured the Brown family's legacy. This exclusive tour features newly discovered research that shines a light on Kentucky itinerant artistry.
10am -1pm Calling all volunteers! Join us on Saturday, November 22nd to help us clean up remaining trash in the back of Liberty Hall Garden from the historic 2025 April flood. We will be working in our wooded floodplain bordering the river, so be prepared for some steep terrain and obstacles like logs and vines. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for working outside.
6pm - 8pm $40 Enter the festively decorated Liberty Hall and enjoy an intimate concert with Na Skylark, a traditional Irish Celtic string band. Refreshments provided. Only 40 guests will be admitted!
11am - 1pm $25 per child Get into the holiday spirit with Liberty Hall Historic Site! At this kids holiday tea party, attendees will decorate their own gift bags and wrapping paper. While waiting for their paper and bags to dry, kids will have a formal tea in the Orlando Brown Parlor. Accompanying adults are free of charge.
6pm - Zoom Meeting It's that time again! For this Liberty Hall Book Club, we will be reading The Lost Journals of Sacajewea by Debra Magpie Earling. Perfect for Native American Heritage Month, this work of historical fiction reimagines the life of the mythologized interpreter for Lewis and Clark and gives Sacajewea agency over her own story.
